Floral Dresses and Rainbow Brollies
Despite it being December, Imma and Alice went for floral dresses – and honestly? They looked absolutely stunning.
This is what I love about couples who do things their own way. Who says you can’t wear florals in winter? Who says your wedding has to look a certain way just because of the season?
And then there were the rainbow brollies. We had a bit of typical British weather (because of course we did), but instead of letting it dampen the mood, we embraced it. Those colourful umbrellas made for some brilliant, joyful photos that captured the spirit of the day perfectly.
This is what I mean when I say weather doesn’t ruin anything. We work with what we’ve got, and often the results are even better than what we’d planned.
Gorgeous Nighttime Silhouette Shots
One of the massive advantages of winter weddings? The early darkness gives us incredible opportunities for nighttime photography.
We captured some absolutely gorgeous silhouette shots as the evening drew in. There’s something romantic and dramatic about these images – they’ve got this timeless quality that I absolutely love.

Right, I need to tell you about the ring shot.

This is peak me, honestly. I can’t resist a good ceilidh, and when the music starts and everyone’s up dancing, I’m right there with my camera capturing all the chaos and joy.
Some of the best photos happen during the dancing. The laughter, the energy, the moments when everyone’s completely lost in the celebration – this is what I live for as a photographer.
